Fly Fishing – The feeding behavior of trout

Fly fishing in all its varieties and sub-areas (casting, fly tying, etc), is focuses on a single goal – to successfully tempt a fish (usually trout) to take an artificial fly as a food. Observation, pendants, the Game and Fish Landing are also important elements of successful fishing experience, not to mention the possibility of fly fishing of the fish first, casting methods only used only for flying.

But with all this work, and practical skills necessary to put together at this crucial moment, this is essential to convince the fish that is actually considering power, as in nature. Without this key, you can forget about the others, and this is the first stage of the exercise of which depends the decision of the fish, instead of ourselves.

In this sense, fishermen spend untold amounts of time to study, study, and imitation many kinds of insects to help present a credible lure their prey. We tie flies, fish is required, our efforts have paid off, right?

But everything is as it seems? Let us not deceive the fish for exactly the reasons that thought?

While many factors involved to come to fly shy fish, and fly fishing itself is obviously designed to overcome all these obstacles, given its importance, the understanding of 'Conduct Food "trout has probably taken a bit of a back seat compared to other areas of experience or fly fishing that fishermen often seem concentrate our efforts.

The feeding behavior of trout is the sum of two main factors:

First, through fry and fingerling stages of development, identification of the recognition of certain foods "keys" have their roots as a result of pattern repetitive power of their natural survival instincts.

Secondly, as they grow, can handle more food items. It is then a learned behavior of an additional reagent to the local wildlife, are in the area where they were born or released. Local knowledge is naturally beneficial here and this is what we focus on that normally fly fishing.

The behavior of trout vary considerably between species, size and circumstances found. Trout patterns also change with different times of day, again depending on weather conditions. Feeding habits and behavior change, as the waters between fast and slow, and so on.

Since in most types of fishing, there is no single answer or single. Otherwise, it would have been common knowledge, not long. What this tells us is that to increase our chances of persuading the trout of the validity of our progress will be much better to focus on the specific presentation "buttons of recognition, which is consistent, rather than more subjective behavior" learned specific circumstances, which often vary from fish to fish, and especially from one place to another.

There are many pieces of the puzzle. The most Parts can find, understand and together, the more they multiplied their results to fly fishing. What this method does for us, in particular, is simplified and improved our learning curve, while an incredible degree.

Therefore, instead of studying dozens, even hundreds, if not most, insects and flies to imitate them, I found that in almost all cases, you only need a few fly patterns, each designed to work specifically in the various cases found in the water fishing.

Trout fly fish then induce "Toma" by the use of recognition of key foods, by imitation, more than expected. For this method, then, local knowledge is relatively unimportant.

This means that the flies do not need to imitate any thing to catch the trout. What? Repeat .- The flies do not have to imitate nothing to fish for trout. Although nothing specific anyway.

Flies may be associated with the current counter or water conditions, or to counter and / or enjoy the various aspects of the behavior of trout. This, then (not limited by imitation specific), opens opportunities to integrate the use of innovative strategies, tactics and trout fly construction, give us a much greater advantage than thought possible.

The more time we spent fishing with incorrect or insufficient knowledge, the longer it spent developing the mind that Trout is an adversary far superior results, wily and unpredictable as mine apparently inaccessible, and without this knowledge is available, the practical reality is just that.

Normally, it takes years of studying these fish, trial and error with different models of fly fishing techniques, different innovative ideas and approaches with emphasis to go to a place where you understand these creatures adequately for exceptional results that normally only appears Pro comply.

Fortunately, with the focus now can be much greater success in achieving a much shorter time for the understanding and use of these "key recognition in other models combination of trout species that we target, and some basic knowledge of fly fishing.
