What Rod Would One Need To Catch A Salmon?
What type of fishing rod is needed to catch a salmon? Is it a fly fishing rod or what? Or does it matter?

First off with a’ fly rod one REALLY has ta’ know what their doin’ when it comes ta’ fishin’ Salmon (HAaaaaa’, I still don’t and have been fishin’ them for quite a BIT of time now!!). My personal setup’s be Baitecaster/”level wind” reel’s on 8′ 6″ drift rod’s. Again, with these type also, one has to have a good workin’ idea of them ie., castin’. Best bet for you is a spinning rod/reel (link)
